Julie has spent the last 15 years steadily migrating north; away from the heat of southeast Texas. She learned to mountain bike in the foothills of Denver. She is also a skier, a runner, a yogi, cross-fit 3x a week to keep everything strong. In 2019, Julie received her mountain bike instructor certification and loves helping people improve their mountain biking skills. You can often find her out at Spencer mountain playing on the new jump features off Maple Syrup.
You can reach Julie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Julie is a PMBIA certified instructor and has been mountain biking for 10 years. She started riding in the mountains of Colorado and has ridden in Patagonia, Chile and the Alps of Slovenia, Italy and Austria. When flying becomes normal again, she's on to the Scottish Highlands.
"I rode mountain bikes for years without any formal instruction. As a result, I did things poorly and unsafely for a very long time. I love helping new riders get better, faster. It' makes me happy to see new riders have that "aha" moment when things click and make sense on a bike. Mountain biking is one of the best parts of my life, and I love sharing it with other people."
