The biggest difference is that on a tour, you will have a guide riding with your group. Your guide will talk about park history, glaciation, ecology, and more. Our guided tours also include pick up from your lodging property.
Our shuttles depart from our tour headquarters. We drop you off at the road closure in GNP. We go over proper e-bike use and discuss safety topics. From there, you're off! You have 4-hours of ride time before we return to Whitefish.
The answer is different for everybody. There will likely be other folks riding the road, you'll never feel too "alone." It's very difficult to get lost, as there's only one road to ride up and back.
Absolutely. As our manager likes to say.... "my mom is in her 60's and only rides her beach cruiser to brunch in Florida. She'd be completely fine to take this trip."
You'll know when we know! The park starts plowing around April 1st. They try to have the road open by the 3rd week in June, but snowpack and avalanche will sometimes slow the process. You can check the Park's website, or feel free to give us a call to discuss.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
