Summer Driving Tours of Glacier

Enjoy the areas of West Glacier & Polebridge with your private guide on this approximately 7 hour scenic driving tour.  This tour is perfect for an introduction to Glacier National Park. You'll learn all about the park and see some lesser-known areas of the valley. There will be plenty of time for photo stops along the way.

Tuesday and Sunday Group Scenic Driving Tours of Glacier National Park.  Spend approximately 4 hours touring the most popular areas of West Glacier in a comfortable van with a professional guide. We will start in Whitefish and head out to Hungry Horse Dam, then we will enter West Glacier and go up to Lake McDonald Lodge and Apgar Village. Get out and explore each stop along the way.  

Group tour includes local accommodation pick up, park entry, professional guide, light snacks and beverages.

Explore the East side of Glacier on this approximate 8 hour scenic driving tour. This trip drives you over the Continental Divide making stops at the Goat Lick with a chance to see mountain goats and travel over Marias Pass. You will see some of the oldest geological features in Glacier National Park as you dip down into the East Glacier Two Medicine Valley and St. Mary Lake. This area is rich in history and you will learn all about the Blackfeet Nation while enjoying the sights on the southern boundary of Glacier National Park. At Two Medicine you will have time for a short waterfall hike and a chance to explore the lake. Our tour then heads up a beautiful scenic drive to the St. Mary's park entrance and along the St. Mary lake.

Who's ready for some wildlife viewing? A trip to the Bison Range is our best option for animal sightings. The private scenic tour starts at 9am and returns around 5pm.

This full day tour is an amazing excursion through Northwest Montana!  Your private guide will transport your group around both the east and west shores of Flathead Lake to the National Bison Range. 

The Bison Range is in the center of the 1,250,000-acre Flathead Indian Reservation and consists of 18,766 acres. Over half of the Bison Range borders Indian trust land and waterways. The Bison Range is currently managed as a Wildlife Refuge by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes 

After exploring the bison range we will make a stop and enjoy lunch at one of our favorite Lakeside restaurants.

Our Many Glacier tour with optional Swiftcurrent boat ride gets you all the way from Whitefish or west side lodging over Marias pass to Many Glacier and back in one day. Guests have approximately 5 to 6 hrs to hike, enjoy a boat ride or do it all with a boat/hike combination. Prepare to leave at 6 for a full 12 hour day.

June 12th to Sept. 15th add on a scenic 1.5 hr boat tour, subject to availability. The Many Glacier narrated boat tour begins on the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake aboard the Chief Two Guns, cruise across the lake with views of Grinnell Point while spotting wildlife on the shores, dock, disembark and walk 0.2 mile (over a steep hill) to the shores of Lake Josephine. You will then board the Morning Eagle and cruise to the head of Lake Josephine with amazing views of Salamander & Gem Glaciers. Here you can either disembark and go on a self-guided hike, or remain on the boat to return back across both lakes to the Many Glacier Hotel. If you decide to go hiking, your round trip ticket will ensure transport back to the Many Glacier Hotel on one of our return boats.
