Winter Tours and Activities in Glacier National Park & Whitefish

Private Tours of Glacier National Park.  Spend approximately 4 hours touring the most popular areas of West Glacier in a private vehicle. We will start in Whitefish and head out to Hungry Horse Dam, we then enter West Glacier and go up to Lake McDonald Lodge and Apgar Village with a stop at the Huckleberry Patch for a piece of pie or souvenir. Get out and explore each stop along the way.  

Private tour includes local accommodation pick up, park entry, private guide, light snacks and beverages.

At the time of booking add-on a local deli lunch for $15 per person and/or a 1 hr stop at Glacier Distillery for $125 per group

Join us for a full day exploring the West side of Glacier National Park along with up to 2 hours  of guided snowshoeing on select trails. This approximately 6 hour tour includes all of the beautiful stops in our Scenic Driving tour in both West Glacier and along the way as well as an opportunity to explore the winter forest setting in Glacier. 

Our guides will take you on a 2-3 mile snowshoe adventure to enjoy the serenity of Glacier in the winter. This activity is suitable for various fitness levels.

Step outside of the norm and experience a truly unique adventure with our professional guides on a night time snowshoe excursion. We pick up guests at their local accommodation at 7pm and head out to a popular trail for a 2-3 mile snowshoe hike. Our guides will ensure a safe, fun environment so you can enjoy the serenity of the moonlight, beautiful snow views and a fire at the end to warm up with a hot cocoa or mulled wine. 

Tour includes round trip transportation, snowshoe rentals, poles, headlamp, private guide and hot beverages.

Enjoy an exciting adventure exploring the backcountry of the Whitefish Range on a guided snowmobile excursion.

You can book guides for private half-day and full-day tours. Sleds can accommodate single or double riders.

Whether you’re a first-time snowmobiler or have been riding these sleds for ages, you’ll have a blast soaring across the snowy terrain! 

 Love beer, love local vibes? Join us for a private guided afternoon tour of the best local breweries in the Flathead Valley. Our 3 hour tours start at 4pm, then head off to explore 3 different local breweries including a cider house in an apple orchard. 1 beer or cider flight included at each stop.

Additional drinks and food can be purchased at every stop.

Tour includes round trip pick up and drop off at your local accommodation, beer or cider flights at 3 different locations, inside knowledge to each brewery and private guide.

Who's ready for some wildlife viewing? A trip to the Bison Range is our best option for animal sightings. The private scenic tour starts at 9am and returns around 5pm.

This full day tour is an amazing excursion through Northwest Montana!  Your private guide will transport your group around both the east and west shores of Flathead Lake to the National Bison Range. 

The Bison Range is in the center of the 1,250,000-acre Flathead Indian Reservation and consists of 18,766 acres. Over half of the Bison Range borders Indian trust land and waterways. The Bison Range is currently managed as a Wildlife Refuge by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes 

After exploring the bison range we will make a stop and enjoy lunch at one of our favorite Lakeside restaurants.

Historic NW Montana barn photography tour. Join us for an early evening tour  exploring the backroads of Whitefish and the Flathead Valley. Our half day tour includes Whitefish heritage locations with some of our favorite historic barns and homesteads. .

Learn to use cameras ranging from your cell phone to professional grade DSLR. Our professional photographer will help guide you through the best viewpoints and provide an interactive tutorial on framing your best shots. Guests will leave with a compressive knowledge of local area landmarks and a new perspective on architectural travel photography.
